Bowery Lighting does not itself warranty the products offered for sale on this website however all Lighting products are sold with the following manufacturer warranty: warrants to the first non-dealer purchaser of any of its products that they are to be free from defects in material and workmanship. If a product does have a defect, Bowery Lighting obligation is expressly limited to repair or replacement, without charge, at the factory after prior written return authorization has been granted. Bowery Lighting obligation under this warranty does not extend beyond the initial cost of the product and accordingly any consequential damages or labor costs arising out of a defect are expressly excluded. This warranty shall not apply to products that have been altered or improperly used. Notice of a defect must be received by Bowery Lighting within one (1) years from the date of purchase. Excluded from the one (1) year warranty are all light bulbs, which are warranted to perform satisfactorily to the industry standard burning hours rating, but in no case to exceed one (1) years. Also excluded from the one (1) year warranty are the HID ballasts, which are covered by separate manufacturers warranties. Bowery Lighting will not accept any responsibility or liability on the ballasts whatsoever.

Most manufacturers do not reduce return fees for exchanging product. Please contact Customer Service to inquire about exchange options. (You will receive an email response in 24-48 hours.)
Bowery Lighting will not cover any additional shipping fees due to the additional services provided at the time of delivery. This includes indoor delivery of products shipped via freight companies and rerouting packages to addresses different than the "ship to" address provided on the initial order.
Shipping outside the continental United States
Bowery Lighting does not offer free shipping to Hawaii, Alaska, Canada, Puerto Rico or international destinations. To ship to these areas you must provide your own shipping methods or shipping account numbers.
Accepting your Delivery
Before accepting your delivery, you are required to inspect each and every box for damage or missing items. Accepting delivery of a shipment is your confirms that the item(s) were received in 100% usable condition and that you have received every item as listed on the package. If you are not required to sign for a shipment, and you received damaged goods, please contact the carrier immediately to refuse the shipment.
Once an order is delivered and accepted, the return options for that order become limited. Any damaged or missing items not noted at the time of delivery must be reported within 5 business days of receiving the shipment.
If you discover damaged products upon opening a shipment, please contact Customer Service immediately to take appropriate action to resolve the matter. (You will receive an email response in 24-48 hours.) A claim will be filed with the carrier to credit for the damaged fixture. We will gladly replace your fixture at no cost. If you would like to return the damaged product with no replacement, there will be a reduced 25% return fee for the product. If the replacement product is backordered we will retrieve the damaged product and issue a credit.
All Damaged or defective items must be reported in writing, either through the "contact us" portion of the website, or via phone at 866-744-5166.

Please note, we will refund or pay shipping costs only if the return is a result of our error. The crediting process will begin once the product has been received and inspected. Credits will not be issued for products damaged during return shipment, and you will responsible for filing a claim with the shipper. Please allow 21 days for processing of credits. Further, Bowery Lighting reserves the right to refuse or cancel any orders containing any error, inaccuracy or omission, whether or not the order has been submitted, confirmed and or your credit card has been charged.
If you would like to cancel an order, you must call us at 1-866-744-5166 or send us an email stating that you would like to cancel it. Orders can only be cancelled if they have not entered the shipping process. "Shipping Process" can mean it was picked and prepared to ship from our warehouse or that the item(s) you have ordered has left the manufacturer's warehouse and it is on the way to be delivered to our warehouse. Once it is picked and ready to ship from the manufacturer it can not be cancelled without paying a restocking fee. If your credit card has been charged but your order has not entered the shipping process, your order may be cancelled and credited . If your order has entered the shipping process (either shipping to you, or ordered from a 3rd party that cannot stop the shipment), then you may not cancel an order. You may not cancel without a restocking fee.
All orders are considered open and active until you receive a cancellation number confirming that the order was canceled.

We charge sales tax on all orders shipped to New York residencies. Qualified resellers are able to insert a tax exemption number during checkout.
